Emergency Medical Services: Pinellas Suncoast Fire and Rescue maintains a facility at the Redington Yacht Club to serve the Redington area. The number is 595-1117.
Building Inspections: The Pinellas County Building Department has the contract to issue all building permits and enforce building and zoning codes in the town. The building official assigned to the town is John Konstreles. Phone number is 464-3930.
Business Tax Receipt: All persons with a business located in North Redington Beach must obtain a Business Tax Receipt. All businesses must be filed with the Town Clerk at Town Hall, 190 173rd Ave. Phone is 391-4848. **** In July, 2003, the requirement for Business Tax Receipts was extended to home-based businesses. There are restrictions that must be met to qualify as a home business. Information and licenses are available from the Town Clerk.****
Miscellaneous Permits: Town Hall issues the following permits: resident parking permits for town owned spaces on the beach access, temporary parking permits for motor homes and trailers, garage sales, temporary storage units (PODS). Trash Collection: Waste Services of Florida, Inc. is responsible for trash collection with fees paid directly to them. Residential trash is picked up every Monday and Thursday. Recycled materials are collected on Thursday only. Commercial trash is collected on various days according to individual contracts. The number for Waste Services is 572-6800.
