Comp Plan Notice of Intent
The State Department of Community Affairs is taking the final step in the process to approve the recently approved amendment to our town's comprehensive plan with the posting of this notice.
The amendment has already been through two public hearings, and county, regional and state staff review, and was approved by the Planning & Zoning Board and the Town Commission.
It is part of the Town's effort to protect the tourist facilities on the west side of Gulf Boulevard, which was a primary objective cited by residents when asked to help create a vision for the future. [ Click here for more... ]
